See in 51 seconds the impressions of the first community event of Adresta. Because on September 10th, the art of watchmaking met the Blockchain technology. In the middle of Zurich.
While many went home after a long workday, a handful of people dedicated their time to the art of watchmaking.
It was the first meeting of the Adresta community and the Adresta team. The nervousness within the team was unmistakable, but the strong interest in the art of watchmaking quickly made the worry vanish. Sandro Bösch opened the door to his specialist store at Kreutzplatz, exclusively for this event: "Welcome to the Zeit Zone Zürich".
Various workshop stations made for an unforgettable evening: measuring the precision of watch mechanics, working on movements, taking a look at large pendulums. The evening was filled with great impressions, various captivating stories and personal experiences from master watchmaker Sandro Bösch and his dedicated staff. It's incredible to be looking over the shoulders of a watchmaker at work, especially if you can get hands-on on a clockwork.
"The time could and should have stood still." - Marc Michel, Member of the watch community.
For the first time, we showed Adresta's app prototypes and received valuable feedback, which was incorporated immediately into the development planning. Adresta built a bridge from tradition to technology and at the same time showed how Swiss watch history continues digitally. Then the last highlight of the day followed: An aperitif with selected delicacies by Chef George.
The atmosphere was unique, and new acquaintances were made. But take a look at some impressions of this evening for yourself:
